Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 73 on Sunday, and wishes poured in from leaders across the globe. President Droupadi Murmu, Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP President JP Nadda were among the Indian leaders who extended their best wishes to the PM. World leaders such as US President Joe Biden, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese also wished PM Modi on his birthday.
In a tweet, President Murmu wished PM Modi a long and healthy life and said that she prays for his continued success in leading the country. “I wish Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji a very happy birthday. May you always remain healthy and happy and continue to benefit the countrymen with your excellent leadership,” she said.
Home Minister Shah tweeted, “On the occasion of the birthday of our beloved Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, I wish him a long and healthy life. Under his visionary leadership, India is scaling new heights of progress and development.”
BJP President Nadda said that PM Modi is a global leader who has made India proud. “Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji is a global leader who has made India proud. He is a role model for millions of people around the world,” he tweeted.
US President Biden tweeted, “On behalf of the American people, I wish a very happy birthday to Prime Minister Modi. I look forward to continuing our close work together to strengthen the US-India relationship and promote our shared values.”
UK Prime Minister Johnson tweeted, “Happy birthday to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I am grateful for his friendship and leadership. Together, we are working to build a stronger and more prosperous future for our two countries.”
Australian Prime Minister Albanese tweeted, “Happy birthday to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I look forward to working with him to strengthen the Australia-India relationship and promote our shared values.”
Other world leaders who wished PM Modi on his birthday include Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, and Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid.
